Negotiating your salary doesn't have to be so stressful.
It's really easy to leave money on the table. Why? If you're like most people, even the thought of negotiating for a better salary (or better ate) makes you nervous. You might not know how much to ask for. Or when is the best time to do it. Or maybe you don't feel like you're truly worth more.
There's lots of excuses to choose from - but let's choose something else. To learn to negotiate!
This type of coaching is designed to teach you how. We'll get you to a place where you're feeling confident and ready to avoid the traps that many of us fall into. And, yes, there will be plenty of time to practice.
If you're starting a consulting business and are setting your rates, this type of coaching can help you out, too.

The Process:
We suggest starting at least 2-3 coaching sessions for our salary negotiation clients.
We will spend the first coaching session learning what is behind your hesitancy to negotiate and how to reframe it in a way that makes sense to you. We will spend time determining your "number" and how to ask for what you're worth. We'll also decide when is a good time for you to bring the topic up and when and how to have the actual negotiation. Self-employed? This applies to you as well. You're negotiating rates all the time!
We will also begin to cover proven "tricks" and ready responses for the negotiation. You will be given homework after this first session to ensure what you learned “sets in”.
We can then spend the second session brainstorming together how to approach the negotiation and tricky topics that come up. You will be coached specific to your career, industry and the job you are aiming for. You will be given homework after this second session so that you can practice the techniques on your own and strengthen your stories and examples.
The third session can be devoted specifically to practice to strengthen and solidify what was learned in the first two sessions.

Fees:
The cost for an 50-minute Salary Negotiation Session is $195. This includes email, text and phone correspondence between sessions because navigating change doesn’t just happen in the 50-minutes we are working together.
We also offer a 90-minute coaching session that is great for "one and done" type of support that is $295. Whatever the option you choose, we get you focused, clear and results in your salary negotiations.
Let's talk about the price: We are know just the thought of spending money on your career search turns your stomach. We understand that you may be seeking out my help in a job search because you may be feeling unstable financially. So the idea of spending money on making money leaves you with a tight throat and a pit in your stomach. But fear not, we will work with you.
Here is a perspective we are hoping makes sense to you: based on the salary you are hoping to get from your new job you are interviewing for, $195 can be roughly less than 1% of your $30k salary to work with us. That kind of return on investment doesn't exist anywhere. So if you are willing to commit to a session or two, your ROI on our work together will be repaid exponentially in your new gig.
And if you are making more than $30k a year and wondering if you can spend $195 on a session, shame on you. Because your investment is even less than 1% of your salary on my services. So knock off the excuses that you don't have the money because if you don't work with us, you REALLY won't have the money because you won't land the job you are dreaming about.
We accept credit cards, checks or PayPal; the work that we do together is 100% tax deductible and we will walk you through the steps during tax time to take that deduction. We understand that you may be seeking out my help with your career because you may be feeling unstable financially. Although we do not discount our fees for interview coaching, we are open to being flexible when it comes to payment terms. We can talk about your needs during our exploratory session!
